The family was raised from Rochester, New York, Sharp was immersed in music and studied clarinet the piano, cello, and clarinet at the prestigious Hochstein School of Music. Sharp was awarded a full award for The Boston Conservatory for her enthusiasm in school theatre. Cum Laude, where she earned an B.F.A. at the Conservatory, Sharp set her sights on the stage. Sharp appeared in her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel and made her debut Off Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. In the improv comedy Eat the Runt, she took on eight different characters. Other theatrical shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp was a co-reader with the playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp's works aren't limited to stage or screen. She has also written and co-written several projects. Sharp performs and is currently working on an album of full length. Sharp is a fan of fitness. She is active by doing boxing, studying Krav Maga, and taking long roadtrips. Sharp is a resident of Los Angeles, California with her family.
